In this current aged care climate, there are plenty who, by virtue of their message, maybe convincing you that, all aged care facilities are in disarray and every resident is receiving substandard services and is being neglected.
In my line of work, I come across many families and/or care recipients who ask me about residential respite and how to access it. It’s a reasonable question, given that most families are new to aged care and generally navigating it for the very first time – usually learning on the run.
